I couldn’t breathe underwater
and I felt bitter about sleep.
I jumped into the green
and found myself
at the bottom of the sea.
I wanted to sit and reflect
on how beautiful it is
underwater,
but I slept and felt pain
in my lungs.
I dreamt of water
that spoke in
some other language
and forgot how to live.
