Poetry by C. Eve

I am the First Eve.

December 13, 2012March 7, 2018

He Will Never Love You

It is forbidden to
kill.
I sensed her secret
I realized.
I secretly feared and hated
desire.
He quivered.
Satisfaction glinted
like a diamond.

My death was turmoil and
her worst fear.
